With Summer well on its way, why not tour our beautiful Hawke’s Bay wineries by bike?

On Yer Bike is Hawke’s Bay’s original bike winery tour company and offers self guided bike tours around the Ngatarawa Triangle grape growing region as well as the Gimblett Gravels stopping off at wineries along the way.

For $60 per person, you get the choice of a 21 speed mountain bike or a tandem bike, helmet, high vis, packed lunch with fresh fruit, a detailed map of the route and information about each winery. If you don’t want lunch, pay just $50.

The total route is 28km, but you can tailor the tour to your own fitness level by visiting fewer wineries and taking things at a more leisurely pace to soak up the sun.

Vines and Views – Half Day and Full Day Tour

Vines and Views is a new tour company offering a one full day tour inclusive of lunch and two half day tours. Our tours include driving Napier’s Art Deco CBD, stopping to photograph the Rothmans Building.

We travel through Bay View to the Esk Valley and stop at two wineries for tastings. We also visit the Esk Valley church and drive through a hill country sheep farm to our exclusive panoramic viewing platform. Here we partake in a complimentary glass of wine with cheese. We then return to Napier via Bluff Hill lookout to view the port.
