Taste, savour and celebrate all things beer at Beer Appreciation Day (B.A.D).
Held at Duart House in Havelock North, this not-to-be-missed event will feature a wide range of beers from some of New Zealand’s leading small breweries.
Beer experts will take you through a guided tasting of craft beers across the spectrum of styles and flavours. Some of the beers will be available throughout the day, while some will be exclusive to the guided tasting.
Each beer will be analysed in detail from both an ingredients and brewing technique perspective so you can unlock the secrets to their unique characteristics.
A token system applies at B.A.D to speed up service at the bar.
Each token has a value of $2.
Beer and cider is priced in numbers of tokens (pretty much either 2 or 3).
Food and soft drinks to be purchased with cash.
B.A.D. uses 200ml pilsner glasses.
If you’d like to try a beer before deciding whether to buy a glass, we’ll be happy to pour a small tasting for you.
