The TSB Bank Christmas Series is back.
CHRISTMAS IN CORNWALL PARK –WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Here is what you need to know to have a great time on Sunday
The programme starts at 3pm and goes until 8.45pm.
Highlights include the Zeal Youth Show Case from 3-6pm, Santa at 5pm and the Carols from 7.15pm.
All times are subject to change on the day and our wonderful MCs will keep you up to date with any changes.

Carols Carols begin at 7.15pm with music by the Deco Bay Brass and singing from Cantare Choir. Once the carols are finished the MC will ask the crowd to choose their 3 favourites for a reprise. We will have 1,000 carol sheets available for the audience from the info tent and TSB Tent. You will need to share these booklets with your family as we are expecting 4,000 people.
Other activities As well as the music and carols there will be plenty of fun things to do with your family on Sunday including:

• Zeal Youth Hang Out Zone with fun games, activities
• Food trucks and Bay Espresso Coffee Cart

Santa’s GrottoSanta arrives at 5pm and kids can meet him in his grotto between 5pm-6pm. Get a photo and a lolly and tell him what you want for Christmas.
Photos will be uploaded onto the Hastings District Council Facebook page (link) from Sunday night with all photos uploaded by Monday

ToiletsToilets are located in the Cornwall Park Cricket Pavilion and portaloos and disabled portaloo is also available closer to the stage by the Lake.
Rubbish This year we are trialling a new rubbish system to try and reduce the amount of waste we send to landfill
Some sunblock will be provided however we still recommend you do bring your own sunblock and hat.
ParkingThere is restricted parking on Tomoana Road and on two smaller areas on Roberts Street and Cornwall Road. Disabled drop off and parking is on the Southern side of the Tomoana Road gate. Ask the friendly staff there about parking. There is absolutely no parking inside the gate.
Smoking & Alcohol All HDC parks and events are now smoke free. Please refrain from smoking. If you must smoke please leave the park and dispose of your cigarette butt in a rubbish bin. Christmas in Cornwall Park is an alcohol free event.
Cancellation The weather forecast currently shows brief morning rain clearing to a fine day. We will be going ahead unless the weather turns to absolute custard. You can check our HDC Facebook page for updates and a decision will be made by 12noon on Sunday if it looks bad.

Hastings City Night Market on Thursday 17 December.
Carols at the Christmas Night Market – Thursday 17 December
Christmas at the Hastings City Night Market this year will be held on Thursday 17 December.
The market starts at 5pm with food and late night shopping with Carols to be sung by the Flaxmere LDS choir.
Meet Santa at Santa’s Wonderland and experience the joy of Christmas in the Hastings city centre.
