The annual Summer in the Park series is to be held in Cornwall Park, in Hastings. This year the event features a Paint the Park competition where 100 artists have submitted their art work to be sold during the events with the money raised put back into community projects.
Each event is held from 3pm – 5pm.

Duo’s in the Park
Bring a picnic and listen to the sounds of four bands. Duo’s in the Park features Savornine, a duo band with Jacqui Thompson and Jeff Reid, Devils Elbow who are a local rock band, Dave Boston, a blues, latin and jazz guitarist as well as Lennie Lawton a local blues guitarist.
Country in the Park
Borderline, Hawkes Bay’s answer to country music takes the stage at Country in the Park. Covering music from some of the great names of American country music from the dust bowl era through to alternative country.
Brass, Pipes and Drums in the Park
Listen to two of Hawkes Bay’s iconic bands promise to take the park by storm. The Hastings Citizens’ Band and The City of Hastings Pipe Band are two bands not to be missed
Naked Gun in the Park
Listen to cool popular covers we all know by the local and dynamic four-piece rock/dance band Naked Gun.
